My Holiday Decor

What a week it's been!  Busy, busy with clients, cards got in the mail, decorated the house, outside lights are up and hosted my annual party.  I guess I'm making up for lost time since last week I was sick.  This weekend there's no stopping as I'm off shopping, having dinner with friends and going to a performance of the Seattle Men's Chorus.  Like I said, this month is a wild ride!

My tree.  It glows like the mother ship!  I have been collecting ornaments for over 20 years, all in silver and glass/crystal.  I don't even have half of them on.  I got tired.  In case you're wondering, it's a real tree.

I decorated my sideboard with simple European trees and a silver bowl of pine cones.

My little village.  I've been buying these the day after Christmas the last few years.  Love their vintage vibe.

A better photo in the daylight.  You can see my mantle and our stockings hung by the chimney with care.

Brown paper packages tied up with string... these are a few of my favorite things!  Yes, it's my dogs advent calendar on the family room mantle.  I do one every year for them.  Each bag has a treat that they get before bedtime.  Yep, crazy dog lady here.  I got this year's idea from the lovely AnnieHers puts mine to shame.

And finally, a glimpse at my outdoor lights.

Happy, Happy Weekend to each and every one of you!
